How it all started…
Years ago, I had a dream about a woman from a fantasy realm who was kidnapped by the enemy on her wedding night. I followed their journey all the way to a hidden waterfall in the middle of nowhere…and then I woke up. If you’ve read the waterfall scene in KING OF DARKEN, I’m sure you can imagine how disappointing this was. So, I gave the woman and her soldier names, and I outlined the rest of the story, obsessing over how it was supposed to end. And then, my notes sat on a shelf for another couple of years until I couldn’t put off writing their book any longer. Today that book is KING OF DARKEN, and now that I’ve created the Realm of Nyx, I have other stories yet to come that have been keeping me up at night. Hope you’re ready!
